Day 13- Write a short poem that a child would like.

My mommy took me to a sweet world,

Filled with beautiful doggies and said let’s take one home,

I searched all around and found one in a corner, his body curled.

I learned by his side and his face lit up,

He jumped and barked and wagged his tail,

I picked him up and we left behind a happy trail.

I told my mommy if we would take him home

And she said yes, yes we will.

To this very day, I still have my puppy

And I always give thanks for this, to my mommy.
