Two-Sided

So today, the challenge, to write about money! It could be about not having enough, having too much (a nice kind of problem to have), the smell, or feel, or sensory aspects of money. It could also just be a poem about how we decide what has value or worth.

The desire to have more.

Think and believe you can open doors.

Pick people up from the floor.

Always waiting for the next score.

Makes the cleanest heart feel like a whore.

You give hope and they strip it away.

Bring pleasure then make it fade.

You’re a sword with two points.

So easy to disappoint.

You’re a blessing and a curse.

Bring hunger and hurt.

Feel like a king, or like dirt.
