You criticize because I have secrets in my soul,
but there’s so much more you haven’t told.
You hide behind your perfect mask,
while all I do is stand here and ask.
Ask what the hell is going on,
but all you tell me is to hold on.
To wait a moment while you make up your mind,
while the perfect answer you try to find.
You tell me what my gullible ears want to hear,
then you wonder why I have so much fear.
Why I hide behind my perfect barrier, create a strong exterior.
You’re a lover with a heart of a traitor.
And I have no time for your disguise,
my only goal was to make you mine.
But you hid your heart behind a perfect storm
and storm navigation was never one of my skills,
I guess our love, you were trying to kill.
It’s time for me to stay still because this was not my, but your will.
