It hurts, she grabs her chest and crumbles to the floor; she’s on her knees and sobs. It’s painful, it’s real, you’d expect to see blood all around but it wasn’t a physical loss, it was emotional. She lost her heart very recent, but the pain felt like it had been there forever. She ached with such intensity, she begged God to take away the pain. For months she tried to bring her self back but it was useless, it was practically hopeless. She was so happy before she met him, she was so happy with him. He made her fall in love, and he made her think he was in love with her. He took her to beautiful places, he told her beautiful words. He made her feel things that no one ever made her feel before. She still remembered the first time she saw him; he smiled warmly and waved. That was the first time she had ever laid eyes on him but he was so happy, so friendly, like a long lost friend, so he drew her to him and they embarked on a journey she would never forget. His whispers of beauty were permanently sketched to her memory and how could she forget about his touch. So soft, so gentle it seemed so sincere, so full of love and care. He hugged her with such passion and bestowed kisses upon her cheek with gentle grace. He treated her so nicely, he was so understanding and caring. Then out of nowhere he left her for another. So now she felt her pain and wept for what she lost, for she knew the chances were slim, that she would ever get it back. Not his love…But her heart.
