Day 7

Dreams echo in my heart;
In a world that knows no dark.
Where there is you and me,
And it’s so easy to be free.
In a world with no regrets,
And all that matters is
that we finally met.
Dreams echo in my heart;
Ever since we’ve been apart.

Very nice! Reminded me of A Valediction Forbidding Mourning for some reason. You can find it here: http://www.poetryfoundation.org/poems-and-poets/poems/detail/44131

I’m actually really bad at reading poetry from other authors, because I never know who’s good.

I hear you! Was just thinking, I need to read more. I tend to prefer older stuff (if it has survived and is still around, there must be something good in it). Read anything you want, but pay attention to why you like it, or don’t like it. For me, a lot of rhyme can seem trite or overused (rhyme/time etc) which is a bit of a turnoff. Every author has some awesome and some suck, and we can learn from both.

Thats definetly true, not everything will always be good. I guess I like rhymes but ones that aren’t like extremely obvious, like cat, hat, bat etc. Being a little dramatic there but you get it. And definitely something I can identify with, like something that either moves my feelings, I’ve love through or feel like damn I should have wrote this 😂😂😂
