I needed you. I needed you when I was all alone when I was in search of a place to call home. I needed you by side, when things weren’t right, I need you to help me fight. More than your support I needed your emotions. I needed you because I was broken. I need you so we could build each other up, but you were too focused on your own cleanup. I needed my lover, I needed my friend, I want it now but I needed it then. Back when my heart was in pieces, it wasn’t just about caprices. I needed my person, my helping hand, I needed my someone, I needed my man. I needed you back then and you weren’t there. I needed you to hold me through the nightmare. But you weren’t there and I needed to survive, so all that was left was to say goodbye.
