Crippling fears that hold us down. Crippling fears that won’t let us turn around. Fears of deceptions and lies that overthrow the soul, threatening the possibility of ever becoming whole. Fears rooted deep within the past, jeopardizing anything that may have a chance to last. Fears that have nothing to do with the present but still become a torment. We fear what may be when it has not yet become; limiting our lives and our destinies by possible outcomes. We hide from others and from ourselves because we can’t handle being slightly overwhelmed. We run into danger trying to run from our fears, in the process forgetting those we hold dear. We become selfish and egocentric neglecting the fact that others deserve to be respected. We live in fear and lose every day because we won’t confront our fears face to face.
