Do you remember?

It’s all faded.

All jumbled.

Bits and pieces come back.

Want to collapse.

Small feelings.

Short moments.

Images scrambled.

One by one.

It’s no fun.

Trying to remember.

Loaded gun.

Faster than the speed of light.

It not right.

So present you can almost touch.

But it’s not enough.

Feels so rough.

The ache in your chest,

Call out to December.

Be this way forever.

Always trying to remember.

Unnamed Try

In the end, feelings simmer down.

The truth is always found.

This is no longer for you but for me.

There is no us, there is no we.

Focused on a destiny, only I can take myself to.

It doesn’t matter with who.

This isn’t a thing about two.

God! But that little sting always stays behind.

Wishing there was more to find.

Takes the sleep out of my mind.

And I ask myself why?

Why do it again?

It’s always the same.

In the end, feelings simmer down.

The truth is always found.
