Day 30- Write a poem employing extended metaphor to illustrate the experience of the last thirty days.

We decided to do this together in good and bad weather.

At the beginning it was easy, things would just flow; we could just enjoy the show.

I was a lot of fun and we were overexcited,

Guess that’s what happens when you just start a marriage.

Then you get sloppy, don’t focus on the small details,

You get tired of every day doing something that’s worth it.

Yet you love whom you’re with and everything you do.

So you get back up and try it again,

Because in the end, you know this is not just about you.
